Join Our Fun Summer of Reading
We’re excited to welcome everyone back to the Fraser Public Library for our 2025 Summer Reading Club! Our theme this year is Color Our World and we have so much colorful fun planned for this summer.
Don’t be afraid to get messy, as we explore all of the ways we can create, appreciate and explore art! We’ll host a combination of indoor and outdoor events planned for this summer. So make sure you pay attention to the location of the event when you register. Due to the nature of outdoor programs, we may need to reschedule in case of inclement weather. And don’t forget to wear clothes you can get messy in, as some of our programs this summer involve paint.
Traditionally, summer reading programs are designed to encourage elementary-aged children to keep reading during summer vacation. Preventing the “summer slide” continues to be the main objective of summer reading programs. However, we’re pushing to encourage all age groups to experience the joys of reading during the summer!
Everyone looks forward to summer regardless of age. It’s the time to take vacations or spend days relaxing outside and to catch up on your reading list. Our Summer Reading Club is an opportunity to explore new interests and genres, interact with other community members, and have fun!
