*Update 3/22/2020 – the Fraser Public Library’s closure has been extended through April 12, 2020 due to the Governor’s recommendation. We will still be offering curbside pick-up through this time pending any other changes. Please see instructions below.
*Update 3/16/2020 – While the Fraser Public Library is closed to the public, we will be offering curbside pick-up for checkouts. Our hours of operation for curbside pick-up will be Mon.-Thurs. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again at 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday pick-up hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In order to checkout materials, please call the library at 586-293-2055 to request what you want. The staff will grab your items to be ready when you pick up. This applies to items currently on the holds shelf and tax forms as well. All printing charges for tax forms will be waived during this time. Please remain in your car when you arrive, please pull up to the back door and call 586-293-2055 to tell the staff you are outside (please relay the make and model of your car). A staff member will wheel a cart outside with your materials. Again, please remain in your car and roll down your window until they verify your name. Once the staff member verifies your name and tells you it’s OK to grab your items, you may step out of your vehicle to collect them. All due dates for Fraser Public Library materials are extended until April 30. Please keep in mind the safety of our patrons and staff is top priority and we need all parties to practice social distancing during this time. The drop box will remain open for you to return items throughout our closure. All materials are being disinfected and sanitized to the best of our ability during this time. Please continue to check back here or on Facebook as this situation is rapidly changing and we are adapting on a day-to-day basis. For questions or help with our online databases, please contact the library during our normal business hours.
