Turning Point

Emergency Shelter services are provided 24-hours per day, 7 days per week. The emergency shelter, located in Macomb County, MI, provides immediate safety and security for survivors of domestic violence and their children. The shelter can only be accessed through our 24-hour crisis line at 586-463-6990.

Great Parents, Great Start Find services available for children ages birth through five in Macomb County.

Feeding the hungry since 1975,  this provides immediate relief to those in need of food through a network of more than 50 pantries and hunger relief organizations.

Health Care

Community First Health Centers They provide community-based health and human services that promote the physical, mental, and emotional health of all members in the community.

Mobile Health Care  Medical Outreach Clinic provides free preventative and primary medical care to Macomb County Residents without health insurance or who qualify based on income.  Services provided through Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center.

Legal Aid & Defender Association

Legal aid for people who meet income or age requirements on cases dealing with domestic violence, foreclosure, income benefits, SSI, wrongful eviction, landlord lock out, utility shut off, and subsidized housing. 313-967-5555

Lakeshore Legal Aid

Legal aid for Macomb County residents who meet income or age requirements assistance is provided on any civil case and includes domestic violence advocacy, family law, landlord tenant relations, senior advocacy, LGBT advocacy, and immgration law. Ombudsmen services are also provided for housing disputes with nursing homes, assisted living, and AFC housing.
