Michigan is switching from the ACT to the SAT in 2016. The Michigan eLibrary (MeL) provides resources and access to sites that have timed practice tests, eBooks and tutorials for the SAT, ACT and others. Check out the link for more information: MeLCollegeBound
Per the Federal Office of Student Aid, FAFSA was made available earlier this cycle (Ocotber 1, 2016 rather than January 1, 2017). Applications no longer need to estimate income and tax information, instead it retrieves data directly from the IRS right from the day FAFSA launched. FAFSA has also gone paperless, but the PDF FAFSA can be printed out. For more information on FAFSA and its changes for the 2017-2018 cycle, please visit FinancialAidToolkit.ed.gov.
