Paws for Reading

Children, especially beginning or struggling readers, are invited to come read to Reba the dog, who is a most patient listener! Grab a comfy spot in the Children’s nook and read a book or two with Reba. This is a drop-in program, no registration necessary.

*This is our first Paws for Reading program! If you know of another certified therapy dog, send them our way! We’d love to make this a weekly program.

Good Morning, My daughter is in Kindergarten @ Mark Twain. She does struggle a bit with her reading she has been learning her sight/popcorn words. I think this idea is great because she loves animals! I guess I wanted to make sure this would be something I could bring her to? I also was wondering about details on the Pajama Story time.

    Thanks,

      Brandy,

Paws for Reading is the perfect program to bring your daughter to. Just give us a call at 586-293-2055 and we can sign her up. On a sadder not unfortunately we are not going to be having PJ storytime this summer. Check back this fall though.
